New Adventure, New Project

Opening with an apology.

Apparently I confused a lot of readers with my Dropping Back In post last week. One thousand apologies if you read that and thought WTF?

The post was supposed to go straight to the archives section of my blog. It was written to complement my new About section.

The same gremlin that posted that post to the front page of my blog is probably the same gremlin who sent out an old post to my email and RSS subscribers the week earlier. Even I was thinking WTF when that happened. Obviously I need professional help to track down and tame this gremlin.

The reason I’ve been tinkering with my About pages is linked to my return to Vietnam. This is the start of another new adventure for my little family and the beginning of an ambitious new project for me.

I don’t know if I can actually pull it off, but I am going to start researching a book on Vietnamese food. This is going to be a long slow process because I have so many other things to juggle, with supporting my family up there near the top of the priorities. You can read a little about Project Street Food in my new About pages.

For the next few weeks, you can expect to be entertained by stories from our European adventure and maybe a few musings on our new life in Ho Chi Minh City. You can also expect a reader survey because I’d like to know what you would like to see here on The Dropout Diaries.

Until next time.

  1. Very exciting!

By the way, I have a gremlin that posts my articles in RSS feeds multiple times (sometimes, not all the time of course) over a period of several days.
